Bazar't Art Gallery: Where Latvian Contemporary Art Comes to Life

“Bazar’t” art gallery was founded in 2016 to create a modern and inspiring art space, where the wider public would be offered the opportunity to get to know and appreciate the most valuable Latvian contemporary art authors.
In these almost ten years, the gallery has become the most extensive visual art platform in Latvia, where it is possible to view and purchase the work of more than 130 professional artists, which on the gallery’s website https://bazart.lv makes up 3,500 units of art and design objects. Representing such visual art fields as: painting, sculpture, graphics, ceramics, photography, glass and metal design artworks.
The gallery’s changing exhibitions and permanent collection are on display in three spacious exhibition halls on the 2nd floor of the “TC Mols” shopping center (with a total exhibition area of over 2,000 sq m), creating an always different and professional platform for artists and art observers. Since December 2024, the gallery has expanded its operations with new premises in the center of Riga - at Elizabetes Street 63. The artists represented by the “Bazar”t” art gallery include Kalvis Zuteris, highly regarded in Brussels and London, Pēteris Līdaka, whose design talent has been appreciated even by brands such as “Hermes”, Anita Arbidāne, Neonilla Medvedeva, Kaspars Perskis, Liena Bondare, Līva Pakalne Fanelli, Armands Vecvanags, Daiga Krūze and many other visual art professionals.
